SESQUI heads to the gentle island PEI – Charlottetown & Summerside’s film screenings

SESQUI is completing its tour of all ten provinces by exhibiting in Prince Edward Island (PEI) from October 1st to October 3rd, 2017 in both Charlottetown and Summerside, PEI for free screenings of its film HORIZON.

With the support and partnership of Science East and Canada 150, SESQUI will be traveling to PEI with a 25-person capacity, inflatable cinematic dome. Citizens from the cradle of Canada’s Confederation will experience a cinematic odyssey across Canada with the 360° film “HORIZON”, which was created to mark Canada 150. The film was shot in all provinces and territories in a pioneering 360° format. The non-narrative, immersive nature of the film is accessible to all audiences from 2-to-102 years old, and celebrates Canada’s inspiring landscapes, unique peoples and valued freedoms. In its tour this summer, the 22-minute film screened to full capacity audiences, with up to three hour lineups and 98% favourability ratings.

“We are excited to be able to work with Science East to bring Horizon to the communities of Summerside and Charlottetown on beautiful Prince Edward Island for screenings with school groups and the general public.” noted Andrea Stewart, SESQUI’s executive producer. “With our early autumn visit to PEI, SESQUI has now connected with Canadians in communities in all ten provinces.”
