The coast to coast tour will offer audiences a front row seat TO the wonders of Canada with new dates and locations added regularly
Toronto, April 25 – SESQUI announces its national tour celebrating Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation. The tour will provide a revolutionary 360° cinematic experience, bringing the 360° film HORIZON and SESQUI’s virtual reality programming MERIDIAN VR to communities across the country all year long.
Through SESQUI’s cinematic dome tour, fixed-dome theatres, pop-up dome events and VR exhibitions, audiences coast to coast will see Canada like never before. Immersive 360° and VR storytelling will animate the remarkable people, landscapes and freedoms that make us proud to call Canada home.
SESQUI’s national tour kicked-off earlier this month with a virtual reality exhibition at FiTC in Toronto, followed by the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival. The world premiere of the 360° film HORIZON takes place Thursday, May 4 at TELUS Spark in Calgary. The premiere event also includes a VR exhibition and additional Canada 150 activities, giveaways, contests and more.

Last month, SESQUI announced the Ontario cinematic dome tour, supported by the province as part of a line-up of Ontario 150 celebrations. The immersive dome tour offers free screenings of HORIZON from June to August, 2017.
